Tafadzwa Chikumbu is the Executive Director. He has over 14 years experience in Public Finance Management, Public Debt, Extractive Industries, Transparency and Accountability and Anti-corruption. He has contributed to policy research lobby and advocacy at national, regional and international levels. Tafadzwa holds a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management from the University of Zambia and a BSc Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe.

Nqobani Liberty Tshabangu is the Head of Programmes. He has 8 years experience in international development, research and project management. He holds a Masters of Arts in Peace, conflict and Development with the University of Bradford (UK) and a Bachelor of Arts Hons in Economic History with the University of Zimbabwe.

Douglas Makonyere - Finance & Administration Manager
He has over 20 years of experience in financial accounting, human resources, and administration at local and international NGO/Non-Profit and profit entity levels. With this comes the ability to manage cross functional teams between programmes and support teams. He is passionate about making an impact on societal values, community awareness and improvement through provision of support services that are transparent and always show integrity. To this end, he has assisted and continues to assist some local nonprofits with expertise covering financial, administration and human resource aspects with an aim to improve and strengthen internal controls, albeit on a volunteer basis.
Dakarayi Matanga

Dakarayi Matanga – Senior Research Officer
Dakarayi Matanga is the Senior Research Officer for Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI Z) leading the organisation’s Research & Information Unit (RIU). He has at least 23 years work experience gleaned from the development and private sectors in policy research, policy advocacy and strategic communications. His work in the development sector focused on leading advocacy efforts and civic education on public debt, global trade, and aid from a human rights perspective. He has also led NGO coalitions and social movements advocating on these issues at national and sub regional levels. In the private sector, he served as an advocacy officer for a local Business Membership Organisation (BMO), a technical advisor coaching local BMOs to succeed in public private dialogue (PPD), and company spokesperson for a leading telecommunications company listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE). He also served a stint in academia teaching International Relations and Global Economic Governance Institutions (GEGIs).He holds a Mass Communication Degree with Leicester University; as well as an MSc. International Relations and BSc. (Hons.) Politics and Administration Degrees, both earned from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ).

Vulindlela Ndlovu - Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer
Vulindlela Ndlovu is an M and E expert with over 15 years of experience working in diverse international and local non-governmental organization in Zimbabwe. He holds Post Graduate Diploma and Mphil in Monitoring and Evaluation Methods obtained from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. He has worked with various international, local non-governmental organisations and civil society organisations working in humanitarian, food security, agriculture and livelihoods, democracy & governance, water, sanitation & hygiene sectors. He has extensive understanding of monitoring and evaluation approaches and paradigms in improving program quality and measuring impact and change.

Fadzai Jekemu – Legal and Policy officer
Fadzai Jekemu is our Legal and Policy officer. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Nelson Mandela University and a Masters in Human rights, Peace and Development. Fadzai is passionate about human rights and in 2016 she was awarded the Manicaland Human Rights Defender award by the Zimbabwe Human Rights Association.

Samuel Jack Matikiti is our Research and Advocacy Officer based in our Mutare office. He joined TI Z in 2018. His professional interest lies in anti-corruption research, electoral integrity, gendered corruption and policy advocacy. Samuel holds a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Political Science and a Master of Science Degree in International Relations (MIR). Currently he is studying towards attaining a Doctorate (Ph.D.).

Priscilla Banguza is the Administration Officer. She has 18 years’ experience working in International and local NGOs in coordinating, planning and organizing Human Resources and Administration activities. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Human Resources Management with Midlands State University, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, IPMZ Diploma in Human Resources Management and several Administration Certificates.

Holding an esteemed Bachelor of Accountancy Honors Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Certification in Computer Operations and Packages, he is currently pursuing his ACCA qualification. Klein's professional experience includes working with the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD) in Finance, as well as completing his industrial attachment at the National Social Security Authority (NSSA). With a firm grasp of financial analysis, budgeting, and investment strategies, Klein showcases exceptional analytical skills and academic proficiency in the field.

Loni Semgalawe is an innovative and dedicated communications professional currently interning at Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI ZW). With experience in strategic communication, digital marketing, and social media management, Loni is well-equipped to support TI-ZW’s advocacy and transparency initiatives. Loni holds a Master’s Degree in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies from Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a major in Marketing from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Her bilingual proficiency in English and Swahili enhances her ability to create engaging and effective content for diverse audiences. At Transparency International Zimbabwe, Loni manages the organization's social media platforms, develops, and executes comprehensive communication strategies, and contributes to various advocacy campaigns. Her role is pivotal in enhancing the visibility and impact of TI-ZW's work in promoting transparency and combating corruption. Loni’s expertise includes content creation, campaign execution, client engagement, and performance analysis. Her previous roles across telecommunications, digital marketing, and advocacy sectors have equipped her with a versatile skill set and a unique perspective on communication.
